On May 20, Stocks in the Future held its 2nd Annual 8th Grade Rally at the Enoch Pratt Free Library Central in downtown Baltimore. SIF graduated more than 200 students from eight schools around the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Class projects were displayed prior to the program as part of a Finance Fair, a new component of the Rally. Jayne Miller (WBAL-TV; SIF Board of Directors) was emcee and Luke Cooper (Co-Founder & CEO of Peach) was keynote speaker. Read more on citybizlist. (pdf version available here)
On March 26, Stocks in the Future hosted its inaugural March Market Madness. The event featured keynote speaker Joe Mechlinski, CEO and co-founder of entreQuest, a panel of SIF teachers, principals, and alumni, a market forecasting contest, and a silent auction.
